Client: High-growth, VC-backed life sciences company headquartered in the US.

Challenge: Engage a mixed culture of High Performers and Cruisers to develop and scale a High Achieving Culture during an unprecedented period of growth, fundraising, growing pains, and new business.

Results: To implement a cultural transformation, we focused on a mix of strategic, tactical, and operational programs and initiatives. Reimaginez implemented several cultural initiatives and training and development programs, which enabled the team to experience a 50% increase in growth with High Performers.

To level up the team, we implemented several Futuristic Leadership Programs for management and next-generation leaders to strengthen and level up the teams. Alongside the client, we also advanced the culture and leadership from a mixed performance to a High Achieving Culture.

 

We helped the company to develop a proven recruitment methodology to attract more culturally aligned High Performers; the client adopted and implemented the proprietary processes, models, and frameworks that included The People and Purpose Centric Recruit on Culture Framework™.

Transforming Leadership —  From Innovator to Thriving CTO in Climate Tech

Client: Seed stage Climate Tech company based in Massachusetts

Challenge: This first-time founder faced the complexities of leading a high-growth, innovative technical company. The CTO was looking to grow his team, deal with the demands of being a cofounder, and develop his leadership and commercial skills while navigating the challenges of a fast-paced startup environment.

Results: We delivered The High Performance Founder Program to guide, support, and champion this new cofounder and CTO to thrive as a founder and leader. The program focused on helping him navigate the startup rollercoaster during his transition from working in a startup to running one and peak his performance individually and within the cofounding team. We worked closely with the CTO to codify and solidify the foundation of their company culture, bringing current team members together and enabling team growth.

 

During the program, the CTO substantially expanded his team, which became the largest in the company. He learned to thrive as a founder, effectively stepping into his role while remaining active as an innovator in the lab.

 

The program also helped him engage in early-stage initiatives and grow as a leader, learning to lead High Achievers, elevate High Potentials from strategic and operational perspectives, and build a scalable cultural foundation. Client: Founder and former CEO of a successful series-B Life Science company.

Challenge: Reconnecting with self-sovereignty after complete immersion in his company for over a decade.

Results: After over a decade of complete focus on launching and scaling his company, he realized that he hadn’t made time for himself or self-discovery. After successfully exiting his company, he faced the challenges and complexity of the open road ahead with too many options and requests. Instead of jumping right back into the startup world, Therése and the Founder worked on his deep self-discovery and personal alignment as well as the pursuit of his legacy. This journey led him to a place where he is in the best shape of his life, has a deep sense of self, and acts with intention and meaning in every part of his life.

 

 

From CTO to CEO – Succeeding as the Leader of a Fast-Growing Startup

Client: Founder and CEO of a series-A BioTech company in Boston.

Challenge: Transforming a highly technical and scientifically brilliant Founder into an effective CEO.

Results: This serial Founder and former CTO who focused on technical development and intellectual property, had previously started and successfully sold two companies prior to launching this startup as a CEO. The underlying challenges were mainly connected to the different skill sets required as a CEO – being in the driver’s seat of a highly specialized team while also focusing on fundraising, recruiting talent, keeping the culture thriving, and pitching the startup to audiences around the world.

During this personal and professional transformation, the Founder grew into an effective and visionary leader, launching multiple products, closing major partnerships, raising venture capital, and successfully growing the company into a dominant player within their niche. Codifying a Startup’s Culture to Keep and Attract the Best Talent During Extreme Growth

Client: Founding team of a series-A startup within Artificial Intelligence in the US.

Challenge: Keep their current team members highly engaged and thriving while more than doubling their workforce within three months.

Results: Therése and her team worked closely with the CEO and the founding team to codify and strengthen their culture in order to impact everything from core leadership philosophies, recruitment processes, delegation and accountability to new KPI’s and internal rituals to celebrate successes. Upon completion of the projects the company celebrated its reinforced identity and grew with an increased confidence and speed, setting themselves up for their next stage of growth.

 

 

Tripling The Equity Stake

 

Client: First-time Founder and CEO of a Series-B biotech company in the US.

Challenge: During the company’s series-B funding round, the CEO was at risk of being diluted further and only left with 3 percent of his business.

Results: The first step was to identify key issues that included board and investor relations, corporate positioning, and competing priorities. Therése helped the CEO develop sophisticated negotiation strategies and tactics to strengthen him personally and professionally against a combated board. Together, their work resulted in a closed funding round with a 9.5 percent equity stake, and the CEO earned renewed confidence from the board and company.

 

 

Realigning and Launching a Successful Impact Fund

Client: Highly empathic lead investor with 20+ years of experience in New York.

Challenge: Uniting and realigning investors and management to successfully launch an innovative fund of funds.

Results: Therése and the founding partner uncovered the underlying challenges to realize the inspired vision for the fund, which included a new launch strategy, management team alignment, and cultural foundation. Together they worked on addressing each challenge and unified the management team around the new strategic direction and action plan. This was quickly followed by successfully closing the funding round with new partners and launching their first targeted investments.
